Scraptherapy paper choices

As Scraptherapy is on such a small scale compared to 12x12s, I’ve had to re-think my paper choices a little.

Here are some current designs that I’d be quick to order these days and why they’d work so well for this format…

As my Scraptherapy books are a budget project, I like to choose papers where I love the front and reverse equally to get maximum ‘bang for my buck’.

This pretty aqua print from Elle’s Studio fits the bill perfectly.

I love classic black and white prints to complement all my pretty colours, so this Pebbles paper is spot on.

Also from Elle’s Studio, this yellow stripe is a beautifully happy design. And in my book, you can’t beat a pop of yellow with a scheme of mint and pink!

This peachy gingham from Pebbles is very sweet. Gentle, small-scale prints like this one are perfect for layering up behind photos, without competing for attention.

Ditsy florals, like this one by Dear Lizzy, always grab me, as they give such fresh pops of colour on a page, even when just a snatch is showing.

I’m really not one for anything remotely dark or grown-up!

And two where I love the reverse more than the front… this cornflower blue check from Pinkfresh Studio is right up my alley.

Pastel sprinkles: need I say more?

And finally, a bit of a luxury paper: this gold foil heart design from My Mind’s Eye is just gorgeous. I can just see those little hearts peeking out from the edge of a photo or being folded into a stunning little envelope for ephemera!
