Yay: got my little December scraptherapy kit prepped and ready to go! It’s mainly bits from my stash, but I did add a few festive extras.
Here’s what I’ll be working with each day in December…
The base of my book will start out as all my scraptherapy books do: a selection of papers – including vellum, gift wrap, tissue and other genuine scrap – held together with binder rings.
Nice and simple, but the perfect backdrop for lots of layering, envelopes, shaker pockets etc.
My colour scheme was inspired by this hot pink ribbon from the WHSmith gift wrap department.
I’m never a red and green girl at Christmas (even our tree is white) so my December projects always reflect this.
The other bits that dictated the direction of my kit were these glitter number stickers and silver sequins, both from Poundland: cheap but very cheerful!
My papers and journalling cards are from last year’s Felicity Jane ‘Oh Deer!’ kit, which I adore – even the branding strips are awesome.
And then I just rummaged through my stash and pulled out literally anything in the right sort of colours – added to all my white tags and doilies, this little lot should keep me very happy!
And the cherry on the cake? This *adorable* Santa Baby puffy sticker set from Prima: I fell in love with it months ago and ordered quickly in case it sold out.
Just how cute is that adorable Santa with his high-heeled boots?
How about you? Which direction are you taking your festive documenting? What’s your colour palette going to be?
