Just me, just here

DSCF7222

Well, hello you! It’s been a while and I’ve missed you.

So I think I can now safely say that I’m social media sober! And it’s been *so* good for me. Hard beyond words, but a really healthy step for me personally.

Know what I’ve missed though? Sharing me: the simple, the scrappy, the scruffy and the spiritual.

So I’ve decided to crack open a *teeny-tiny* online window: this little pastel-hued corner of mine. I’ve always liked it here and don’t find it addictive in the least (at least, I don’t think I do… ha!)

So let’s update you on what’s been going on: I’m still doing scraptherapy every single day: it’s genuinely my sanity and my joy.

Perhaps I’ll film you a little flip-thru at some point, show you what I’ve been creating.

There’s the little fam of course…

… not forgetting The Fur Twins.

And here’s my little corner of joy. Because I’m not filming or doing DT projects, my set-up could become super-simple.

I’m working exclusively with Felicity Jane digitals to keep things thrifty (supplemented with enamel dots, of course: what is a page – a life! – without those glossy discs of gorgeouness?)

As well as walking on the beach everyday (my seaglass collection is getting out of hand), I’m volunteering once a week in a thrift store and run a weekly Bible Journalling group that meets in our kitchen.

Both activities are challenging for introverted ol’ me, but they’re both so nourishing.

So, this blog: things might change direction, ever so slightly.

Of course I’m still scrap-obsessed (new Heidi planners anyone? whoa) but things here are going to be a simple reflection of wherever I’m at, whenever I feel like sharing something.

So that could be kind of fun, huh?

  3. Hi Suse, when I spotted the notification of this post in my email I was delighted. It’s so nice to see you back, albeit on your terms. And why not – it sounds to me that you have found the balance you were craving. I wouldn’t have discovered scraptherapy but for you and for that I’m truly grateful. And many of my scrap pages show your influence, that’s for sure! I look forward to your next post, in whichever direction you’re taking it.
