Fix your eyes

I do enjoy making these faithscrappers videos.

Between filming, editing and uploading, they’re a bit of a labour of love, but they’re feeling so worth it.

I’m not one to toot my own horn, but you won’t believe how many private, heartfelt messages I’ve had from people who’ve felt God speak to them through these little films.

It makes me feel so honoured.

So I shall keep on with them!

I’ll admit that I don’t find the level of vulnerability required to be real in this way *entirely* comfortable, but then it’s hard not to be a bit worried about who might be thinking what about you, isn’t it?

It takes some courage and a determination to care only about what He thinks, but fixing my eyes on Him and Him alone is a good lesson for me to learn.

In the words of Sara Bareilles’ ‘Brave’:

Fallen for the fear
And done some disappearing…

Maybe there’s a way out of the cage where you live;
Maybe one of these days you can let the light in,
Show me how big your brave is.

… Let your words be anything but empty,
Why don’t you tell them the truth?”
